This video is made by the film maker David Moneypenny in Maya Bay during the restoration of the corals in the bay. 120 coral nurseries are made and over 40 thousand corals are propagated in the bay. When the work begins on May 28, 2018, there is no life in this bay. Soon after closing Maya Bay for rehabilitation black tip sharks begin to appear. Initially, just a few. At the end of the project a drone count is made, and we counted 114 sharks inside the bay! The rehabilitation project not just propagating corals. It protects marine life and marine eco system from deteriorating further. Bringing back life thats dwindling. Ocean Quest Global provides assistance in all aspects of this restoration including the reopening strategy.
